5 Tips for Maintaining Your Rental Appliance

Keep Your Rental Appliance Running Smoothly

When you rent an appliance from us, we want to make sure it works perfectly throughout your rental period. Here are five simple tips to keep everything running smoothly.

1. Clean the Lint Filter Regularly

If you're renting a dryer, clean the lint filter after every load. A clogged filter reduces efficiency and can even be a fire hazard. It takes just 10 seconds and makes a huge difference.

2. Don't Overload the Machine

Whether it's a washer or dryer, overloading puts unnecessary strain on the motor and bearings. Follow the capacity guidelines in the manual or sticker on the unit.

3. Use the Right Detergent

High-efficiency (HE) washers require HE detergent. Using regular detergent creates too many suds, which can damage the machine over time. Look for the HE symbol on the bottle.

4. Keep It Level

An unlevel appliance vibrates excessively, which wears out components faster. If your machine is rocking or walking, adjust the leveling feet until it sits flat.

5. Report Issues Early

If you notice anything unusual — strange noises, leaks, or error codes — contact us right away. Early reporting prevents small problems from becoming big (and expensive) ones.

Remember: our warranty covers normal wear and tear. We're here to help!
