Qué cookies usamos y para qué

Effective Date: May 16, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how RSKC LLC(“Rent Something KC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website. For information about how we use the personal information collected through cookies, please see our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They let the website remember your actions and preferences (like sign-in state and language), measure how you use the site, and let certain third-party features work. We also use closely-related technologies such as local storage, session storage, and pixel tags; for brevity, this policy refers to all of them as “cookies.”

2. Cookies we use

We group the cookies we set into three categories: essential, preferences, and analytics.

Essential cookies

These are required for the site to work. They can’t be turned off without breaking core functionality.

  • Supabase auth cookies— keep you signed in to your account and protect against cross-site request forgery. Set when you sign in; cleared when you sign out or the session expires.
  • Cloudflare security cookies— identify trusted web traffic and block automated abuse. Set by our CDN provider for the duration of your visit.

Preferences

  • Language / localeNEXT_LOCALE remembers whether you chose English or Spanish so the site loads in your preferred language on return visits.
  • Theme— remembers light/dark mode if you change it.

Analytics

  • Google Analytics (GA4)— sets cookies (such as _ga and _ga_*) to measure aggregate site traffic and usage patterns. IP addresses are anonymized. We use this data to understand which pages are useful and to improve the site; we do not use it to identify you personally.

Third-party services

When you check out or manage billing, you may be sent to hosted pages provided by Stripe. Stripe sets its own cookies on those pages, governed by Stripe's cookie policy. We do not control or have access to those cookies.

3. Your choices

You can control cookies through your browser. Most browsers let you see what cookies have been set, delete them, and block specific or all cookies. Some essential cookies are required for sign-in and core features; blocking those may prevent you from using parts of the site.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking on all sites by installing the official Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

4. Do Not Track

Browsers may include a “Do Not Track” setting. Because there is no consistent industry standard for how this signal should be honored, our site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals.

5. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the technologies we use or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When we do, we will revise the “Effective Date” above.
